Our group decided to choose this Renoir painting,' Le Moulin de la Galette ' (1876). The reason being we admired the impressionist style and use of subtle tones and colours.
We are part of the contemporary arts group (Year 1-Project 2) at University of Huddersfield. The brief was to deconstruct Renoir's painting and create a piece of work, relevant to contemporary art culture.
